Ginny’s Den
The Community Center is committed to encouraging and showcasing artwork from local talent. On many walls within the center, local artists display some of their work which is for sale to the public. The Center is in the planning stages of having its first annual Art Expo to feature the various forms of art from the local artisans. Mike Wilson, June Dunn, Joyce Samuel, Mary Lou Bevins, Whitney Copenhaver and other artists are on display here on the walls of the center. Ginny’s Den is the name of the gift shop area located inside the Community Center. We have many pieces of artwork from many local artists, like hand-made wrap bracelets from Erin Oneisom and Pseudo-fractal wood art by Joe Boyd. We also feature stained glass by local artist Janie Weaver McNew. Every purchase helps the artists and the Community Center, so come take a look! From stained glass to beadwork, paintings to sketch artistry, the Community Center is planning to hold a much needed expo. Stay tuned for updates on when this will be happening. Silent auctions take place sporatically throughout the year to benefit the Wolf Hills Friendship Cafe senior group. Be on the lookout for their baskets. Local Artists – We have space available to hang your work. We do not charge space rental, we only request a 10% donation from the sale of your work. |
